ZEPHYR WALLS, 1993-Present

Some of these walls were painted with some form of so-called “permission” from someone who claimed to have authority over the particular slab of concrete in question. On the other hand, some of these walls were not painted with any so-called “permission”. Sometimes, but not always, “legal walls” can be fun to paint. However, I prefer doing very quick pieces. After a few hours of painting a wall it starts to turn into sheer drudgery for me. Plus, I have to confess, it also feels weird not having to look over my shoulder for the police.
