As soon as I got serious about painting freights there was something that I realized very quickly: There are A LOT of freight trains out there. Doing full color pieces is all fine and good but at the rate it takes to do them I was NEVER going to get my name around much. So what to do? The simple answer was to do simple pieces: bubbles, straight letters, fast silver jammies—whatever’s clever. They’re not much to look at but hey, they do the job. Here are a few from The Z files.
